Why his past relationships did not work? John Lloyd Cruz has this answer
Award-winning actor John Lloyd Cruz was asked about the reason behind the failure of his past relationship and here is his answer to this.
It is quite known in showbiz that Lloydie had several relationships in the past that were publicized. Because of his heartthrob status, his ideal leading man roles, and the characters he played as an epitome of a perfect boyfriend, it is inevitable that to expect that he would have the same thing happening in his real love life.
This is one of the topics that seasoned broadcast journalist Jessica Soho tackled in her recent interview with John Lloyd Cruz for the 17th anniversary of her magazine show KMJS.
When Jessica asked why the actor is still single right now when his characters in the movie were always ending up with the leading lady, Lloydie answered, “Naku! Mahirap sagutin yung bakit.”
He then added that this only goes to show that he is “totoong buhay” as what is happening in the movies is contrary to what is happening to his love life in reality.
The actor, on the other hand, refused to divulge if how many girlfriends he had in the past. John Lloyd just stressed that thing he does not cling to the things that do not work.
“Sana alam ko yung sagot. Definitely it takes two to tango. Definitely nagkulang ako sa bawat pagkakataon sa bawat isa sa kanila. Kung hindi naman talaga nararapat, bakit natin ipipilit? Baka hindi pa siguro rin akma,” he said.
Meanwhile, John Lloyd Cruz expressed happiness for the colorful love life that his ex-girlfriend Ellen Adarna has now with Derek Ramsay. For her, the union of Ellen and Derek will be beneficial for his son Elias.
