Momose is a former executive of the Daiyoku Kensetsu construction firm, which operates the plant in Nagano Prefecture, while Aruga is a company employee. The males were arrested, according to police, for allegedly breaking animal welfare law.
The defendants, according to police, failed to collect the dogs’ waste and abandoned sick and injured animals in filthy conditions. According to the authorities, the bulk of the canines are tiny breeds, with 58 showing signs of blindness and other visual issues.
Meanwhile, a jobless guy from Nagoya was detained for allegedly beating his pet cat by forcing it to swim in a bathtub. On social media, the man posted a photo and a video of the kitten being forced to swim.
According to the police complaint, he shared a video of his kitten swimming for 1 minute and 29 seconds. Because cats do not appreciate water, the act of the individual is considered a violation of animal protection law, according to the authorities.
