Metro Manila Alert Level 4 Up For Review Says MMDA
METRO MANILA ALERT LEVEL 4 – According to the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), the current alert level status of the Metro would be assessed after a week.
Recently, the government imposed a new alert level system on top of the general community quarantine (GCQ) to balance the economy and the rising COVID-19 cases. Under the new alert level, new policies such as limiting indoor dining to vaccinated customers.
For now, food establishments, as well as barbershops and beauty salons, are allowed to operate at up to 30% capacity. Meanwhile, religious gatherings are only allowed up to 10% capacity with only fully vaccinated people allowed to be accommodated.
Based on an article from Inquirer, MMDA chairman Benhur Abalos said:

Currently, Metro Manila is under the new GCQ system from September 16-30. Meanwhile, areas under alert level 4 are categorized as those with high or increasing cases of COVID-19.
Along with this, local governments with high total bed and intensive care utilization rates may also fall under the new alert level.
With the GCQ alert level, 4 in place in NCR, persons aged below 18 and 65, those with health risks, or pregnant are not allowed to go outside their homes. However, if they are required to go out to get necessary goods, services, or need to go to work, then an exception would be made.
