Here’s what Bea Alonzo said about criticism she received because of her alleged “unfinished project” in ABS-CBN
New Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo, just like other artists who switched networks, received criticism and here is what she said to her critics including her “dating katrabaho”.
Bea has been under the management of ABS-CBN’s talent management firm Star Magic for two decades before she decided to change her manager and eventually, transferred to the Kapuso network.
With this kind of decision in her career, it is inevitable that she would receive negative reactions and one of the issues that were raised by her critics was that she abandoned a show in the Kapamilya network.
Based on the article in PEP, Bea Alonzo was asked to clarify if she indeed left the series that she was supposed to do and just transferred to the other network.
Although the actress did not specifically mentioned the title of her show ‘Kahit Minsan Lang‘, it can be recalled that director and Dreamscape Entertainment business head Erick Salud posted something about an artist who just left with an unfinished series.
In a previous article, Bea stressed that she has the blessings of the Kapamilya bosses when she decided to transfer to GMA. During a recent interview, the A-list actress reiterated this.
She said that it saddened her that people expressed negative reactions without knowing the truth that her network transfer did not have any issue between her and her former bosses.
On the other hand, she said that before making this decision, she already expected that bashings will come and she prepared herself for this. “Siyempre, kapag nandoon ka na sa sitwasyon na iyon, hindi mo maiiwasang malungkot, di ba? Lalo kasama mo yung mga tao,” the actress said.
She added that within 20 years of working with ABS-CBN, she was able to work with many artists in front and behind the camera and she became close to them.
“Ako, gusto ko lang sabihin na wala akong ginawang masama and alam ko na malinis kong ginawa every step of the way dito sa ginawa ko,” she said. Bea Alonzo also stressed that done nothing wrong and the ABS-CBN bosses knows this.
