Man Applying as Construction Worker Got Badly Beaten by Security Guard

Video footage of a man got badly beaten by security guards in a construction site as he was just only applying as a construction worker.

One of the most difficult things to do in the midst of the current health crisis caused by coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is to find work. Unemployed people are being encouraged to find work so that they can help their families during the pandemic.

However, because of the virus’s threat, some employers are becoming increasingly stringent and often hiring staff. Aside from that, superior staff are being harsh with applicants who haven’t worked for a long time.

A concerned Facebook user posts a video of a man allegedly assaulted by security guards at a construction site. According to the video, the beaten man was trying his luck to apply for a job.

However, he was turned down for some reason and was not permitted to access the premises. The applicant reportedly forced himself to apply because he is desperate for work due to the health crisis.

Locals who have seen the guy feel sorry for him because his face has swollen as a result of the blows, based on the video. Even barangay officials arrived on the scene and urged him to report the incident to the local government.

The video has gotten a lot of attention on social media and has gotten a lot of different reactions from people. The Philnews team is still trying to contact the beaten man for more details.
