The Samsung Galaxy F12 was announced on April 5, 2021, and released on April 12, 2021. The smartphone sports a quad-camera setup at the back comprising of a 48-megapixel (wide) + 5-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) + 2-megapixel (depth) sensor.

For clicking selfies and self-shooting videos, there is a single camera on the front that features an 8-megapixel (wide) camera. Galaxy F12 is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 6000 mAh battery + fast charging 15W.

Samsung Galaxy F12 is powered by Exynos 850 chipset while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Mali-G52. The phone runs on Android 11 + One UI 3.1 operating system. It is integrated with 4GB of RAM while the internal storage has 64GB and 128GB options.

Samsung Galaxy F12 comes in a 6.5 inches screen size and the display is PLS IPS capacitive touchscreen that provides 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. The device measures 164 x 75.9 x 9.7 mm and weighs 221 grams. It is built with a glass front, a plastic back and a plastic frame.

Sensors on the smartphone include proximity, accelerometer, and fingerprint (side-mounted). It also features Bluetooth 5.0, FM radio, recording, GPS with A-GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, BDS, USB OTG, and USB Type-C 2.0.

The phone is available in three colors: Celestial Black, Sky Blue, and Sea Green.
