The prominent singer “Asian’s Songbird” Regine Velasquez-Alcasid air dismay to government’s response against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The singer expresses grievance to her Twitter account against the national government for allegedly neglecting their duty to handle the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) crisis in the country.

She said why do the Filipinos seem to have been neglected. It is said that people are dying every day because of this dreadful pandemic.
“Bakit parang pinabayan na lang tayo? Kanya kanya matira mayibay ganon na lang ba talaga? People are dying people we know relatives friends! Every single day may nalalagas sa atin. What’s happening??” she wrote.
Kapamilya singer Angeline Quinto revealed in her previous vlog that she got COVID-19 and after 14 days of being in quarantine. She documented her seven days of being in-home quarantine and her experience contracting the dreadful virus.
She admitted that she’s been cautious all throughout, but with her nature of work, the risk is higher and at times, she’s become too tired of protecting herself. She accordingly got exposed to an infected person unknowingly.
