Misunderstanding and conflict are inevitable factors between friends but surely, what matters is how these people would eventually fix it. And just recently, without elaborating what has happened 6 years ago, actresses Aiko Melendez and Maricar De Mesa have finally ironed out everything and mended their friendship.
They met again during the set of GMA-7 drama anthology Tadhana where both of them appeared as guests. Maricar shared, “Natural lang. Parang ang dati pa ring siya. Sabi niya lang, ‘Mare.’ Gumanun siya kaagad. ‘Tapos kinalabit ko siya kasi nakatalikod siya, e.”
Both of them shared that upon seeing and talking to each other again, they immediately felt healed over everything that happened to them in the past. It seems like their minds and their hearts automatically understood each other that no words were needed for them to iron out everything.
Aiko said, “We didn’t have to talk in details about what happened. Parang, siguro ganun talaga pag real friendhsip na, wala nang usapan kung ano yung pinagkasamaan niyo ng loob.”
They both agree that what’s important now is that everything’s fine between them and believed that it must be God’s way for them to patch things up. They both posted photos of them together and expressed gratitude for the show for paving the way to mend their friendship.
In the comments, Aiko wrote to her “mare”, “I’m happy that we are ok and pls know this time no more goodbye ah. We will be here for each other no matter what 🙂 love you :)”
