Alleged Drug Pusher Killed In General Trias City Drug Bust
GENERAL TRIAS CITY – An alleged drug pusher was recently slain in a buy bust operation in General Trias City in Cavite province,
Cavite police chief said that the suspect, who is still unidentified, was slain in a sting operation at 4:26 AM, according to a report from Inquirer.
The report from the police did not, however, provide further details regarding the incident.
The recent fatality is, by far, the seventh killed in a series of sting operation conducted in the province for the past four days.
Earlier on February 18, two alleged peddlers of illegal drugs were slain when they reportedly resisted arrest and opened fire at the police officers.
On Feb, 17, another unidentified drug suspect classified as a “high-value” target, was also slain in an operation in Cavite City.
Three more were slain in separate buy-bust operations on February 16, which also resulted in gunfights in this city, as well as in the towns of Indang and Naic.
At the same time, the cops also nabbed 30 suspected pushers in 19 buy-bust operations and confiscated 93 packets of illegal drugs of undisclosed volume and value.
Based on the report, they also arrested 14 wanted criminals, 13 illegal gamblers, five suspects in various crimes and two illegal gun holders. Also retrieved were one caliber .45 pistol and one caliber .22 revolver, and several bullets.
