The Strongest 7-Year-Old Girl In The World Leaves Netizens In Awe
STRONGEST 7-YEAR-OLD GIRL IN THE WORLD – While people are stuck in quarantine developing a belly, a seven-year-old girl, casually lifts more than 80kg in the gym.
The young weight lifter can even deadlift that weight while using an Olympic women’s bar. Furthermore, she can also snatch 32kg and easily do 42kg and squat around 61kg. That’s way more than the average gym goer can accomplish.
Currently, Rory van Ulft, the 4-foot-tall, seven-year-old school girl is the youngest US youth national champion in history. Moreover, she has become the best pound-for-pound under-11s in the U.S.
According to an article from Ladbible, Rory started her training at five years old. Afterward, she was scouted at a gymnastic class. Since then, Rory has developed a love for her craft and just last week was crowned USA weightlifting under-11 and under-13s Youth National Champion in the 30kg weight class.
Rory said that she “likes getting stronger”. She explains that being stronger lets her accomplish more and get better at everything she sets her mind to.
“I don’t think about what came before, or what will come after. I don’t think about anything. I just clear my mind and do it.”, she added.
Rorry lives in Ottawa Canada along with her parents and younger brother. However, despite her impressive weightlifting accolades, she considers herself a gymnast first and foremost.
In terms of her safety, she’s probably in good hands. As per the article, Rory’s parents are a Doctor and a sports medicine pediatrician. As such, her parents said “Her safety is everyone’s top priority. She progresses in her training for both sports carefully and methodically”.
Meanwhile, the one advice Rory wanted to give to people was “don’t ever think about the weight, Just think about your form”.
