Oil Firms Set To Impose Price Adjustments for the Fifth Week

Several oil firms in the Philippines are set to implement petroleum price adjustments on Tuesday (December 8, 2020).

Nowadays, petroleum products are considered as necessity and it keeps the industry moving, it is also the flood of transportation, which necessary to transport people, food, clothes, and other basic commodities.

Slight to huge changes in prices of petroleum products would affect the prices of basic commodities and other essential services.

The gasoline stations in the country would impose another increase with the prices of petroleum products. Motorist would struggle again due to the gas price hike for the second week, diesel and kerosene for the fifth week.

Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and Seaoil Philippines Inc. released advisories that they would implement a P0.25 per liter of gasoline, P0.40 per liter of diesel as well as P0.60 per liter of gasoline.

Petro Gazz would impose the similar price adjustments but the price of kerosene will remain the same. Other companies have yet to make announcement this week. The oil price changes would take effect at 6:00 am on Tuesday.
