Cop Killed In Truck-SUV Collision In Tupi, South Cotabato
COLLISION IN TUPI – A cop was killed while 2 others were injured in a collision between a pickup truck and a SUV in Tupi, South Cotabato.
According to a report from ABS-CBN News, the fatality was identified as Corp. Rolisher Gamueta, aged 40, and was destined at South Cotabato First Provincial Mobile Force Company.
The Tupi Municipal Police Station reported that Gamueta was the driver of the pickup truck, which swerved to the opposite lane and crashed the oncoming SUV. A businessman is among the passengers of the SUV.
The pickup truck went to the sidewalk and tumbled over after colliding with the SUV.
Gamueta was rushed to a hospital but later died during medical treatment. As for the two injured, among them include the SUV driver and its passenger, they are currently in good condition.
Based on the report, the authorities urged drivers to observe extra caution, especially during rainfall.
Earlier this month, a truck which carried electric posts for Camarines Sur had an accident in Calauag, Quezon.

The incident took place at Maharlika Highway, Barangay Doña Aurora in the said town.
Concrete electric posts fell from the trailer truck and blocked the highway.
The posts were supposed to be transferred to the municipality of Tigaon in the province of Camarines Sur as replacements for the destroyed ones.
