The incident took place at Maharlika Highway, Barangay Doña Aurora in the municipality of Calauag in the province, according to a report from GMA News.

The said concrete electric posts fell from the trailer truck and blocked the middle of the highway.

The electric posts were supposed to be taken to the municipality of Tigaon in the province of Camarines Sur as replacements for the posts that were destroyed by Super Typhoon Rolly, according to Nestor Sadocos, the driver of the said truck.

The accident occurred at 5 AM in the morning, November 11 (Wednesday). Only small vehicles were able to pass through the blocked road.

Sadocos said that the cable holding the posts recently snapped, causing the latter to fall. The head of the said truck received damages from its collision with the posts.

Based on the report, the Calauag Municipal Police Station responded to the incident. The driver received minor injuries and is unable to walk.

The area faced strong rains due to Severe Tropical Storm Ulysses.
