PFIZER VACCINE DELIVERIES – As the world continues to struggle against the coronavirus pandemic, scientist race to provide a vaccine.

Currently, Pfizer Inc and BioNTech take the lead with their final trials showing a 95% success rate. Furthermore, there were no serious side effects found during the trials.

Along with this, the efficacy of the vaccine remained constant throughout different age groups and ethnicities. As such, the vaccine shows promising results, especially since it hits the elderly and certain ethnic groups.

Meanwhile, the world may get an early Christmas gift as Pfizer and BioNTech said that a pre-Christmas release of the vaccine may be possible. According to an article from ABS-CBN, BioNTech Chief Executive Ugur Sahin said:

If all goes well I could imagine that we gain approval in the second half of December and start deliveries before Christmas, but really only if all goes positively.

Based on Pfizer’s vaccine update bulletin, the company stated:

“Primary efficacy analysis demonstrates BNT162b2 to be 95% effective against COVID-19 beginning 28 days after the first dose;170 confirmed cases of COVID-19 were evaluated, with 162 observed in the placebo group versus 8 in the vaccine group“.
