Chairman Francis Tolentino, the MMFF Chairman for fourth year, addressed his appeal during an interview with dZMM on Thursday night. The MMFF Chairman earlier announced the withdrawal of “Be Careful Movie,” shortly after receiving Star Cinema’s letter formalizing its decision.

According to the explanation of Star Cinema, the reason of the pull-out was due to the “tight schedule” of the cast and crew of “Be Careful With My Heart,” in shooting the ongoing series.

The MMFF Chairman tries to convince the Star Cinema to reconsider its decision, he said that the festival organizers can be more lenient with regard to the deadline of certain requirements, such as the early previews for the film.
