“Pinoy Big Brother” (PBB) had nearly 40,000 submissions in just three days after opening their online auditions. This is in preparation for the newest edition of one of ABS-CBN’s most successful reality show. This is the 15th edition overall and dubbed as “Connect”.

The audition is open for aspiring housemates aged 16 to 35 years old and this was held through Kumu app. The auditionees are required to publish a one-minute video introducing themselves such as their name, age, residence, and the hashtag #PBBKumuAudition in its description.

Some of the auditionees were discovered by the people online wished for the shut down of the network airing it before during their struggle to have a fresh franchise. With this, a loyal supporter of ABS-CBN, Ogie Diaz, expressed a message to these people.

He wrote first in a Facebook post, “Yung mga nag-o-audition sa PBB, pero me nakaraang post ng “yes to shutdown,” pwede rin ha? Iba-ibang attitude naman ng housemates ang hinahanap ni Big Brother.”

Mocking these auditionees who wished ill for the network before, he went saying that the PBB house will surely need different kinds of people such as the kind one, shy-type, gentle, social climber, bully, the handsome one, the beautiful one, a simple person, a heartthrob, and others.

Diaz then added, “Kasi, sa loob ng Big Brother house, kailangan din ng isang ‘makapal ang mukha.'”
