Police Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bilaro, Talipapa Police commander, said “Pagkabigay niya agad siyang umalis, quickly … so ‘yung jailer nagduda. Nandu’n si Alonzo hawak-hawak ‘yung pasalubong, so binuksan in front of him, which is nagbungad ‘yung “maria juana” sa ibabaw ng ensaymada.”
Alonzo has been in jail since August for a drug-related case. Due to the incident, Alonzo will face another case.
Even though Alonzo has already known that illegal drugs are prohibited inside the jail, he defended “Pinadala ko po sa kaniya. May sakit po kasi ako, para po sa depresyon.”
Authorities are now searching for Larrosa who has also been charged. QCPD Station 3 announced that they will restrict visitors after the incident.
“Maingat kami diyan, pagka chine-check binabaligtad namin ang burger, iche-check namin ‘yung in between baka du’n nakapalaman. Or sa bigas, or sa anything na hard object puwedeng gamitin sa loob kaya sinisita natin ‘yun, talagang chine-check diyan sa pagpasok pa lang,” said Bilaro.
