Six Individuals Arrested Over Illegal Drugs In Makati City
MAKATI CITY – Police operations in Makati City have led to the arrest of six individuals over illegal drugs on Wednesday night.
According to a report from ABS-CBN News, four men were caught in the act for playing cara y cruz (heads or tails) at the sidewalk at Hansel St., Bgy. Pembo at 9 in the evening. Most of them were working at a construction site there.
Police Cpl. Jake Jacinto of PCP 9 said that aside from the coins, police also retrieved a sachet of suspected drugs upon inspecting the four suspects.
In Barangay Poblacion, on the other hand, a man, 39 years of age, was also arrested at about 10 PM. Retrieved from the suspect were 2 sachets of suspected drugs.
The PCP 6 reported that patrolling cops intercepted the said suspect, who was not wearing a facemask along Polaris St.
The sachet was discovered when it dropped from the suspect’s pocket upon inspection.
Based on the report, at Brgy. Guadalupe Nuevo, a 28-year-old man was intercepted by the cops. He was said to have possessed a knife.
He was intercepted at Escuela St. upon receiving a tip from one of the complainants, who said that the suspect was looking for a fight.
A sachet of suspected drugs was also retrieved from the suspect. He will be charged for violating Dangerous Drugs Act, as well as possession of bladed weapon, among others.
