PAGASA – LPA To Bring Cloudy Skies, Scattered Rains This September 22, 2020
PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day, September 22, 2020 (Tuesday).
The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at about 55 kilometers west northwest of Catarman, Northern Samar on early Tuesday morning. It is expected to forecast some part of the country on this day.
According to a report from GMA News, the LPA will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over MIMAROPA, the Bicol Region, and Visayas. Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country, will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. Again, flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Based on the report, PAGASA continues to monitor an active tropical cyclone outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) which will bring no effect on the country.
Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Dolphin (locally called Marce) was last spotted at about 1,495 kilometers east northeast of extreme northern Luzon.
It is packed with maximum sustained winds of 85 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 105 kilometers per hour. It is moving north northeast direction at 105 kilometers per hour.
For the wind speed forecast, Luzon will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the northeast to northwest direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.
Visayas and Mindanao will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the northwest to southwest direction while facing slight coastal waters.
