New Jersey Woman Hospitalized When She Was Pulled to the Ground Over Mask Issue
CCTV footage of a 54-year-old woman in New Jersey was hospitalized after she was pulled to the ground when she confronted a woman for the improper wearing of a face mask.
Over the past few weeks, there are a lot of “Karen” stories, where women act arrogantly, insist on their rights, and disobeying health protocols amid the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
People called these women as “Karen” as they were entitled or demanding beyond the scope of what is appropriate or necessary. A common stereotype is that of a white woman who uses her privilege to demand her own way at the expense of others.
Meanwhile, a 54-year-old woman named Margot Kagan received an attack from a woman after a face coverings confrontation. Kagan who recently went to liver surgery and walked with a cane went to Staples in Hackensack, New Jersey.
In the CCTV footage, she enters the store wearing a pink hat, a mask, and a plastic face shield. While Kagan using the fax machine, the other woman came by and she notices that the woman had a mask beneath her chin and not wearing it properly.
As a result, Kagan turned around and called her attention. However, the woman confronted her that leads Kagan to point her cane as she tries to keep the woman away.

As Kagan pointed her cane, the woman suddenly grabbed her hands and pulled her to the ground. The woman flipped her hair and walked away as Kagan is still lying on the ground.
The woman later came by as Kagan still laid on the ground, Kagan tried to stop the suspect using her feet. At the end of the video, Kagan was talking to people who were shocked and not sure what to do.
After the incident, Kagan was sent to the Hackensack University Medical Center. Because of the incident, Kagan is now left with a fractured left tibia, based on the report of Insider. The Hackensack Police Department is currently investigating this case and posted a wanted ad, asking the public to identify the suspect.
