Manila Police Still Arrest Stubborn Residents Violating Quarantine Rules
Manila Police District, Saturday, still accost and arresting stubborn residents who are still violating the quarantine rules amid pandemic.
Based on the guidelines set by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases, residents when going outside should wear a face mask and should observe physical distancing.
Minors aged 21 and below are not allowed to go outside without guardians. Meanwhile, The Manila Police District is still operating to ensure that city residents comply with the ordinances, including the use of face masks when leaving the house.
In a report of ABS-CBN News, at least 20 individuals are apprehended after caught not wearing a face mask while walking in Sta. Mesa, Ermita, and Sampaloc. According to MPD Spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Carlo Manuel, those caught individuals will be brought to the police station.

Aside from not wearing a face mask, some minors were also rescued outside the house without a parent or guardian. Minors are not allowed outside the house due to the threat of COVID-19.
More than 20 were rescued in Sta. Ana, Sta. Mesa, Malate, Tondo, and other places in Manila. Mayor Isko Moreno, on the other hand, reminded that parents are responsible if their children are left outside.
