Teenager From Pasig City Arrested For Illegal Drugs
TEENAGER FROM PASIG CITY – A male teenager was recently arrested by PDEA operatives in a buy-bust operation in Pasig City.
According to Inquirer, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) reported that the suspect was arrested at the corner of Urbano Street and Velasco Avenue in Barangay Pinagbuhatan on Sunday evening.
PDEA operatives retrieved 300 grams of crystal meth (shabu), which is worth at around P2.4 million.
Based on the report, the said teenager was detained in an undisclosed area. He will be charged for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (Republic Act No. 9165).
Earlier this month, three individuals were arrested in a drug bust in Bulacan on July 7.

The drug bust operation was conducted by agents of PDEA National Capital Region and PDEA Bulacan provincial office in Sta. Maria town in Bulacan.
Among the arrested were two Chinese nationals and a Filipino. Retrieved from them were one kilogram of shabu (crystal meth) which is worth at about P6.8 million, a cellphone, passport and vehicle that were used in the drug deal.
They were also under PDEA custody and are also charged for Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (Republic Act No. 9165).
