Jay Sonza slams Kapamilya channel airing programs through cable operators.
KAPAMILYA CHANNEL – Former ABS-CBN broadcaster Jay Sonza slams biggest network in the country for using cable operators to air their shows.
It’s Showtime and among other shows such as FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, ASAP Natin ‘To, Love Thy Woman, A Soldier’s Heart, Magandang Buhay, and among other have returned airing. This was through the help of several cable operators after the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) ordered the network’s shut down through their released ceased and desist.
Now, amid the delight of many of their supporters as some of the favorite programs have returned, it seemed like one person is not. It is their former broadcaster Jay Sonza who wrote in a Facebook post, “Patuloy sa panlalansi at panlilinlang ang abs cbn network sa pagsasabing babalik na sila sa ere ngayon.”
He accused the network of providing content for their own illegal cable and telecoms business to entice the people and later on charge them with a fee. He even gave them a length of three months before halting due to expenses.
Shady, he wrote in another post directly calling out his former network, “kapamilya network. dating dambuhalang ibon ng brodkasting, kalapati na lang na “NAKIKIPALABAS” sa mga local cable Channel.”
Clearly, despite the shut down, the network is looking for ways to reach their loyal viewers to give them tantamount entertainment and current news. This is especially in the current times that the country is facing a major health problem, the pandemic Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
