The Miami Heat defeated the Indiana Pacers in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals to grab a 3-2 lead en-route to the NBA Finals. The game ended with the final score at 90-79, a victory for the Miami Heat who is seeking for their third consecutive finals appearance.
Reigning NBA Season MVP LeBron James scored 30 points, 8 rebounds, 6 (–foul word(s) removed–)ists and 2 steals. James was well supported by team mate, Udonis Haslem who scored with 16 points, Chalmers had 12 points, while Wade contributed with 10 points.
The Indiana Pacers on the other hand relied on Paul George who scored 27 points, 11 rebounds and 5 (–foul word(s) removed–)ists. Roy Hibbert had 22 points while David West added with 17 points which is not enough to capture the lead against the Heat who is also enjoying a home court advantage.
The Game 6 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals will be held at the Indiana Pacers home court, the Heat is one game away of returning to the NBA Finals.
