Maguindanao massacre witness ambushed
Maguindanao massacre witness Mohammad Sangki was ambushed a report stated on Tuesday, March 17.
The massacre that happened in Maguindanao was one of the dreadful events that happened in the field of politics in the Philippines. This took so many lives of ordinary people, media men, and the family members of Mangudadatu, the political rival of Ampatuan.
Last year, after a decade, the verdict was served. Six members of the Ampatuan family were found guilty and sentenced to reclusion perpetua while three were released, including some police officers.
That decision of the court made the Mangudadatu family very happy after a long time of waiting for the verdict. Throughout those years, their family and the families of other victims joined forces to find justice for their loved ones who died in the massacre.
The witnesses during the dreadful incident also played a major part. They bravely went against a powerful clan in order for justice to be served. However, there’s sad news involved a Maguindanao massacre witness just recently.
Based on the Twitter post of DZRH, the witness of the massacre identified as Mohammad Sangki was ambushed. As of press time, no further details are revealed yet.
