Culprit Accused of Molesting a Young Kid, Wounded After Jumping Off Window

ZAMBOANGA CITY – the culprit accused of molesting a young kid failed to escape after jumping off from the second floor of Hall of Justice building.

According to the report of RMN, the suspect, Raul Gamas, was taken to the building for the inquest proceedings, which was at 11:30 a.m on Tuesday, as police reported.

Gamas was accused of molesting a 3-year-old girl in Barangay Tugbungan, Monday evening. He was arrested after some eyewitness identified him as the person responsible for the crime.

Meanwhile, the suspect told authorities that he was going to the comfort room first to urinate, according to the investigation. But instead of going to the comfort room he attempts to escape through the opened window going to the balcony.

Unfortunately, the window he attempts to jump off was too high. As a result, Gamas was left hanging after he eventually falls to the ground.

Gamas accumulated wounds in some parts of his body. He was immediately given the initial treatment and was taken to the nearest hospital.

Authorities clarified, his hands were handcuffed as they entered the building and toilet, so they were surprised at how he had removed it. Cases are now being dealt with by the culprit regarding the escape attempt.
