Unidentified Woman Found Dead In Truck At Cagayan De Oro
CAGAYAN DE ORO – A woman, unidentified, was found dead in a truck in an area in Cagayan de Oro, January 16 (Thursday).
A report from SunStar states that the woman was found dead with her neck tied with a belt to the steering wheel of a 10- wheeler truck in a vacant area on V. Neri St., Barangay Carmen on the said city.
Initial investigations show that the woman had an altercation with her live-in partner, identified as Danilo Torbilaas, on Wednesday evening.
Torbilaas, who is a truck driver, is considered the primary suspect of what possibly leads to a murder case. The police added that based on this report, she is less likely to kill herself due to the body’s position when it was discovered.
This was further proven when witnesses allegedly heard what seems to be the woman’s cry for help on Wednesday night.
As per the report, the location of Torbilaas was still unknown. The police are still trying to identify the woman but they initially found the name “Che Gonzalez” that is written on a piggy bank inside the victim’s purse.
