For the first time, Angel Locsin speaks out her reaction during the show biz photo exhibit Sunday night March 7, 2011 towards the open admiration revealed of the football star Phil Younghusband to the actress.
“He’s very nice, a complete gentleman and he’s patient,” said the actress.
“We’re friends and we are in the stage of getting-to-know each other,” the actress added.
Angel was confident amid the issue that the date offered by Phil was alleged only a part of date-betting.
“I’m hurt if someone invented the story…but whatever he said, there, I will believe it then” Angel said.
In spite of being close to football star, Angel defends her friend Angelica Panganiban who was involved in the Twitter war of Azkals fans. This was after she said “It’s better for Phil to concentrate and focus his attention to football career and never thought to become an actor”
“I know that Angelica is a big fan of a football game and much more in the Philippine Azkals, so I understand her” said Locsin.
“One thing also, that I don’t have the right to comment, I understand that, and maybe people misunderstood it,” added Locsin.
The actress pleaded to stop the issues that possibly affect to the concentration of the Azkals team.
Phil also admitted before leaving for Japan on Monday that he talks with the actress. But he refuses to detail their conversations.
The Filipino-British football star is still not losing hope that someday he can make a date with the actress.
