Philippine Mobile Legends Bags First Gold In 2019 SEA Games
PHILIPPINE MOBILE LEGENDS – The Philippine Mobile Legends: Bang Bang team, Sibol-Philippines made history as they claimed the first-ever esports gold medal during the 2019 SEA Games.
Sibol’s Mobile Legends team beat Indonesia in a best of five match. The PH team started off with a positively by winning Game 1.
However, the Indonesian team came to with their A-Game. They weren’t here to let any other team beat them.
Hope seemed dire for team PH after that as the Indonesian squad won the Game 3 as well. Fortunately, the PH team strikes back and won Game #4.
They were now at a 2-2 draw. The winner of the next match decides the fate of esports history in the South East Asian Games.
In the fifth match, the Indonesian squad brought out their pocket pick Zhask which had everybody buzzing. But, team Sibol’s Nepomuceno struck first blood.
It was an intense battle between the two squads. However, Sibol-Philippines came up clutch and clawed their way to the first-ever gold medal won for esports in the 2019 SEA Games.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian team consisted of players from the M1 World Championship. This was the first Worldwide competition of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang that was organized by the developer, Moonton.
