PAGASA – Tisoy Approaches Luzon, Signal No. 3 In More Areas
PAGASA – PAGASA recently said that typhoon Tisoy, internationally called Kammuri, draws near Luzon and Signal No.3 was raised in more areas.
The bureau added that the typhoon was last seen at about 275 kilometers east of the town of Virac, Catanduanes It is packed with maximum sustained winds of about 150 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 180 kilometers per hour.
According to ABS-CBN News, Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 3 was raised over the following areas:

- Catanduanes
- Eastern portion of Camarines Sur
- Caramoan
- Presentacion
- Garchitorena
- Lagonoy
- Tinambac
- Siruma
- San Jose
- Goa
- Tigaon
- Ocampo
- Sagñay
- Buhi
- Iriga City
- Baao
- Nabua
- Bato
- Northern portion of Sorsogon
- Donsol
- Pilar
- Castilla
- Sorsogon City
- Prieto Diaz
- Gubat
- Casiguran
- Barcelona
- Juban
- Magallanes
The aforementioned areas will face winds with speed ranging from 121 to 170 kilometers per hour within 18 hours.
Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals was raised over the following areas:
- TCWS No. 2 (61 – 120 kilometers per hour winds within 24 hours)

- Eastern portion of Batangas

As per the report, occasional heavy rains will prevail over Bicol Region, Samar and Biliran provinces. Meanwhile, intermittent heavy rains will be raised over northern Cebu, northern Negros, Dinagat Islands, Siargao.
The typhoon will likely make landfall in Catanduanes, Albay or Sorsogon between Monday night and Tuesday morning.
