Marcelito Pomoy Joins ‘America’s Got Talent: The Champions’
MARCELITO POMOY – Pilipinas Got Talent season 2 winner Marcelito Pomoy to compete on ‘America’s Got Talent: The Champions’ edition.
Filipino singer Marcelito Pomoy rose to fame after winning the 2nd season of ‘Pilipinas Got Talent.’ He has the ability to sing both soprano and tenor. He discovered his amazing skill while working at the poultry.
After the Kapamilya contest, he makes regular appearances at the Sunday variety show ‘ASAP.’ In 2011, he released his first studio album entitled “Duet Yourself.”
In October 2018, Marcelito Pomoy guested on the famous Ellen Show in Los Angeles, California. He expressed that he couldn’t believe that he was invited on the show. “So, here you are because you’re amazing,” said Ellen.
The 35-year-old singer met the famous Canadian singer Celine Dion through Ellen DeGeneres. Pomoy shared their photo on his Instagram account and thank Ellen DeGeneres for making one of his dreams come true.
On Wednesday, November 20, Marcelito Pomoy announced that he will be joining ‘America’s Got Talent: The Champions” which will be aired next year January 6 at NBC.
“Guys, this is it. Ito na ‘yung pagkakataong hinihintay ko. So please abangan niyo po ako,” he wrote.
The Kapamilya singer went on to ask for the support of his ‘kababayans’ as he competes with the champions from different countries around the world.
“Piling-pili po ang nakakalaban dito. Kung kaya sa tulong at suporta niyo, lalo’t higit sa inyong dasal, nawa’y tayo ay makapag-perform hanggang sa huli,” he continued.
