ANGELICA PANGANIBAN – The said insensitive post of Kapamilya actress Angelica Panginaban at Holocaust Memorial received criticism.
Holocaust Memorial or the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe is a place in Berlin where Jewish victims of the Holocaust lie. Holocaust, which is also known as the Shoah, the World War II genocide of the European Jews which lasted from 1941 to 1945. This event in history killed more than six million Jews.
And travelling to Europe, Kapamilya actress Angelica Panganiban was able to step foot on the historical place Holocaust Memorial. Nothing is wrong with the photo but not until she put a caption in to it where she wrote, “Kabibili ko nga lang pala sa bansang ito. Ayun sa ootd ko. Tabi! Dadaan and madam!”
With this, one netizen criticized her post where it stated that it was “done in poor taste” and “out of line”. The netizen further added, “And never joke about “buying the place” and “tabi dadaan ang madam” inside it. Thats super disrespectful, and by posting it, baka madaming sumunod sa yapak niya. Ignorance is not an excuse in this case.”

I don’t think joke fits a memorial site for people who suffered and lost so much. A solemn selfie should be enough to show respect to this solemn ground.
I’ve never been to that place But I know that taking selfies or photos there is inappropriate. It’s called being sensitive and doing thorough research. Palibahasa turista, hindi traveller.
