NTC: No Signal On Octber 25, 26, 27 For Masskara Events
NTC – The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) announced that there will be no signal on parts of Bacolod due to MassKara events.
The telecom agency have sent their memorandum to Globe Telecom and Smart Communications in regards to the upcoming events in the annual month-long Masskara Festival.
In the memo, they said that this is by the request of Police Brigadier General Emmanuel Luis D. Licup that the two telecoms cut off all network services in the following Masskara events:
- Electric MassKara
- Date: October 25 – 27, 2019
- Time: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- Venue: 6th Street, 24th Lacson Street, Bacolod City
- MassKrta Competition Open School and Barangay Category
- Date: October 26 and 27, 2019
- Time: 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- Venue: Lizares – Araneta Streets to Bacolod City
The bureau further added that there will be no further signal, may it be directed and/or reflected from any cell site within one kilometer radius from the venue center.
