It is a zone of climate which is basically described as hot and humid summers and cold to mild winters. These are usually located on the southeast portion of continents.
These usually occur near coastal areas but there are locations that are inland, such is the case of China and the United States of America, which have more seasonal variations and a more clear contrast between summer and winter.
The climate zone has temperatures between 0 °C or 32 °F; or −3 °C or 27 °F; and 18 °C or 64 °F during cold months; and 22 °C or 72 °F in warmer months. Summers are usually long, hot and humid.
