Police Operation in Cavite Leads To Recovery of Suspected Drugs Worth P4.3 Million
POLICE – The authorities seized suspected drugs worth Php 4.3 million during a recent buy-bust operation in Dasmariñas, Cavite.
Under the administration of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, the campaign against drugs was heightened. A lot of people were arrested during operations.
Undeniably, the extent of its presence in the country is surprising and alarming. The President even admitted miscalculating its extent but assured that his administration won’t stop.
The members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) are working hand in hand in operations. There were politicians and members of the Philippine showbiz industry who were nabbed.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, recently, a drug buy-bust operation was conducted in Dasmariñas, Cavite. The police authorities seized suspected drugs worth Php 4.3 million.
The operation was lodged at Barangay Paliparan 2. A member of PNP pretended to be a buyer and met with the suspect. The latter’s identity was not revealed.
Based on the report, the authorities arrested the suspect right away after handing over a small plastic to the buyer. It was in exchange of the Php 25,000.00 buy-bust money.
Aside from the said plastic that the suspect handed over to the buyer, there were five(5) other plastics containing suspected drugs that were seized. Reportedly, charges are being prepared against the suspect.
