Carlo Aquino Speaks On Issue Involving Him, Ex-GF Angelica Panganiban
CARLO AQUINO – Kapamilya actor Carlo Aquino broke his silence on the issue involving him and ex-girlfriend Angelica Panganiban.
One of the Philippine showbiz loveteams that have hooked a lot of fans and supporters is the tandem of Kapamilya stars Angelica Panganiban and Carlo Aquino. They are collectively called “CarGel”.
Angelica and Carlo were childhood sweethearts. They have dated for six(6) years before they broke up. They remained as friends after it until they were both in a relationship with other people.
In January 2018, when Carlo Aquino confirmed that he’s single, the CarGel fans and supporters hoped for a continuation on his love story with Angelica Panganiban. The actress was also single during that time.
Carlo and Angelica became very close again to each other. It sparked rumors that something is going on between the two(2) celebrities. They even spent the Christmas together.
However, it seems that conflict sparked between the two(2) celebrities. It saddened the CarGel fans and supporters who were hoping for a rekindling of the romance between them.
Carlo Aquino was then spotted with a non-showbiz girl and dating allegations crossed the surface. On the part of Angelica Panganiban, recently, she expressed her disagreement on a fan’s plea for a reunion project between her and the Kapamilya actor.
Recently, Carlo Aquino broke his silence on the issue between him and Angelica Panganiban. Based on a report on Pep, the Kapamilya actor expressed that he has asked forgiveness from his ex-girlfriend.
“Hindi naman ako magso-sorry kung alam kong hindi ako nagkamali,” he said.
When asked if he really showed signs that made Angelica hope for a rekindling of their romance, the actor covered his face. After a while, here is what he said:
“Hindi ko na alam… Anong masasabi ko run?” he said based on the report. He was asked at the media launch of his upcoming concert entitled Liwanag in Concert.
Carlo Aquino refused to defend himself on the issue. According to him, he has already apologized to Angelica Panganiban and they have talked not only once but several times.
Regarding the recent disapproval of the actress on doing a project with him, the actor expressed that his ex-girlfriend’s emotions are valid. He also does not want to add on to the issue.
“Para lang sa akin, kung may apoy, di mo na bubuhusan ng Gasul yun para lumaki pa… Huwag na natin siguro pahabain,” he said.
