Here are the first 4 official movie entries for MMFF 2019
The first four (4) official entries for this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF 2019) are finally revealed.
Every year, 8 movies are vying to get the attention of moviegoers and acclaimed film critics. It has been a tradition in Philippine movie industry to showcase films with various genres when holiday season comes.
Throughout the years, the film festival also became a venue where most notable performances are recognized.
Aside from this, the annual even lt has become part of the initiative to promote the local films.
Last year, the movie Rainbow’s Sunset was hailed as the Best Picture featuring the late legendary actor Eddie Garcia.
When it comes to top grossing films last year, the top 3 were Fantastica of Vice Ganda, the Vic Sotto-Coco Martin movie with Maine Mendoza titled Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles, and Aurora featuring Anne Curtis.
For this year, as early as now, movie fans are already anticipating what films will be included in the official list of MMFF 2019 entries.
Based on the report from Philippine Entertainment Portal, here are the first 4 official entries in the film fest as released by the Metro Manila Film Festival Executive Committee (MMFF Execom), upon the recommendation of its Selection Committee.
(K) Ampon from Quantum Films
This movie will feature Kapuso actor Derek Ramsay and Queen of all Media Kris Aquino.
Miracle in Cell No. 7 from VIVA Films
Aga Muhlach and Nadine Lustre are the lead stars in this movie. This is a remake from the hit Korean drama film.
Mission Unstapabol: The Don Identity from APT Entertainment, Inc., ZET Productions
This film will showcase the tandem of Eat Bulaga hosts Bossing Vic Sotto and Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza.
Momalland from ABS-CBN Film Productions and VIVA Films
Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis will join force together in this movie for the first time.
Based on the report, Vice has already revealed as early as April this year that he will be doing an entry for MMFF 2019.
