Comelec Reveals Number of COCs Left in the Counting of Votes
COMELEC – The Commission on Elections gave an update on the status of the counting of votes in Election 2019.
Undeniably, the Filipino people now are eager to know who would really make it to the Magic 12 of the Election 2019 senatorial race. A total of sixty-two(62) candidates are vying for the vacant seats in the Senate.
There are twelve(12) senatorial seats that are up for grabs this midterm election. Currently, the counting of votes is still ongoing with Senator Cynthia Villar leading the race.
In both partial official and partial unofficial Election 2019 senatorial race results, Sen. Villar tops the list and next to her is Sen. Grace Poe. She is also consistent in the 2nd spot.
Recently, an update regarding the result crossed the surface.
Based on a report on GMA News, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) revealed that the National Board of Canvassers (NBOC) has already tallied 147 Certificates of Canvass (COCs).
There is a total of 167 COCs to be tallied thus there are only 20 COCs left to be tallied before the counting of votes ends.
