Apollo Quiboloy’s 69th Birthday Party Set Up Looked Like Disneyland
APOLLO QUIBOLOY – The Kingdom of Jesus Christ church founder Apollo Quiboloy celebrates his 69th birthday by putting up a Disney-like carnival.
The pastor’s celebration was crowded with over 6000 people attending his grand celebration that was held in Jose Maria College.
APOLLO QUIBOLOY is the founding leader and also the executive pastor of the church ‘Kingdom of Jesus Christ’ – The Name Above Every Name – that he founded back in September 1985.
This is based on the article from ABS CBN News. According to the article,
Other than the free food and gifts that the guests received, they also enjoyed a parade of famous Disney characters, mascots and clowns!
There were also free carnival rides that the kids can surely enjoy.
Apollo Quiboloy also revealed his wish for his 69th birthday. Which is ‘world peace’ and ‘happiness for children.’
He explained the idea behind the concept of the ‘Sunshine Land’ in his statement:
“I cannot bring all the children to Disneyland. So I might as well bring Disneyland to them. So ‘yun ang nagpasimula ng concept [So that’s where the concept began]. I do not need to have a birthday anymore.”
President Rodrigo Duterte unable to attend the celebration due to his trip to China, sent a celebratory cake to the pastor.
Meanwhile, few senatorial candidates also attended the pastor’s celebration but it was clarified that they were not there to ask for the pastor’s support.
That is all there is to it, at least for now. We’ll post updates as soon as we got them.
