The Philippine Army Is Going To Recruit 5300+ New Personnels and Officials

PHILIPPINE ARMY RECRUITMENT – Lt. Col. Ramon Zagala, The Philippine Army Spokesperson, announced last Monday that they are hiring a total of 5378 new recruits.

The Philippine Army is now looking for new recruits. Specifically: 4,777 enlisted personnel and 610 officials from the graduates of Philippine Military Academy (PMA).

If you’re considering the Philippine Army Recruitment, here are the things you should consider:

Lt. Col. Zagala made an announcement with DZMM saying that qualifiers for the rank of ‘private’, will be granted 41,000 pesos basic salary and allowances. This is based on an article from ABS-CBN News.

The Philippine Army Standards for hiring are:

  • Applicant should be a natural born Filipino,
  • 18-23 years old,
  • graduated from high school or completed at least 72 units in college,
  • and at least 5 feet tall

So, if you are interested in joining the Army, now would be the perfect time.

The Philippine Army or ‘Hukbong Katihan’ is the oldest, largest branch of the Armed Forces of the Philippines with its commanding general and overall head Macairog S. Alberto.

The main base is located at Fort Andres Bonifacio (formerly Fort McKinley), Metro Manila. The Philippine Army’s core purposes are to serve the people and to secure the land with 11 divisions and special units scattered in the islands of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Stated in their official website, The Philippine Army is also responsible for defending the country through ground combat and operations.

For more than 100 years, the Philippine Army has been serving as protecting element for Filipinos and has played a vital role in nation building.
