Business Leaders, Warehouse Workers Gather At Henry Sy’s Wake
HENRY SY – The wake of the Henry Sy was attended by his business leaders and warehouse workers.
Chinese-Filipino businessman Henry Sy was the wealthiest man in the Philippines. He is the major shareholder of the famous mall SM.
Sy is the one who founded the biggest mall chain in the country. His business started on his small shoe store in Quiapo. With the help of his supportive father, Sy eventually succeeded on his business.
Henry Sy started from humble beginnings before he became the richest man in the country. He was not even born from a rich family in China.
Despite his struggles in his first few years in the country, Sy didn’t back down and still pursue his dream to become a successful businessman.

Based on a report from ABS-CBN, the daily evening masses began yesterday Sunday. The wake was attended by his 6 children, Harley Sy, Herbert Sy, Hans Sy, Henry Sy Jr., Elizabeth Sy, and Teresita Sy-Coson.

Based on the report, Henry Sy requested to be buried and not cremated when he was alive. The father of shopping malls’ interment will be on Thursday, January 24, 2019.
Instead of flowers, the family of the late businessman will accept donations to their SM Foundation.
