Bea Rose Santiago Reveals She Needs “Life-Saving Transplant” Because of her Condition

BEA ROSE SANTIAGO – Beauty queen Bea Rose Santiago revealed that she is in need of a “life-saving transplant” because of her condition.

Filipino model and beauty queen Bea Rose Santiago was crowned as Miss International 2013. She is the fifth Filipina who have snatched the crown and title following Miss International 2005 Lara Quigaman.

Bea took to the social media to announce that she was diagnosed with a Chronic Kidney Disease. A lot of people were shocked over her news.

On her post, Bea Rose Santiago revealed that she already has a damaged kidney when she was younger. She said that she experienced migraines and figured her condition became more dangerous.

The beauty queen said her CKD was a result of drinking pre-workout drink at the gym.

Bea Rose Santiago recently gave an update about her condition after she revealed that she was diagnosed with CKD.

Miss International 2013 again shared the information through her Instagram account. She said she even went to Tokyo to ask for a second opinion.

“I was diagnosed months ago, I was in denial and that’s why I left the Philippines to get a second opinion in Tokyo and it turned out to be a confirmation,” Bea said.

Bea Rose Santiago stated she is now in Canada with her family and donors because she needed a life-saving transplant.

“I live because of a machine, my dialysis machine and the doctors and nurses at Home Hemo Dialysis centre in Toronto General,” Bea added.
