Jerrold Tarog Reacts To Netizen’s Suggestion Regarding Liza Soberano’s Costume for Darna
JERROLD TAROG – Filipino film director Jerrold Tarog reacted to a netizen’s social media comment regarding Liza Soberano’s Darna costume.
The new Darna director, Jerrold Tarog, also directed the movie “Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral” played by Paulo Avelino. The movie tells about the life of Gregorio “Goyo” del Pilar, one of the youngest generals who fought the Battle of Tirad Pass.
The multi-awarded director is known for his works such as Heneral Luna (2015), Bliss (2017), Masahista (2005), Foster Child (2007), Confessional (2007), and among others.
Aside from those amazing movies listed above, Jerrold was recently asked to direct the film Darna.
Liza Soberano will be playing the role of Darna, an iconic superhero in the Philippines.

With regards to it, one netizen made a suggestion. Twitter user @lcros186 requested Direk Jerrold to design Liza a costume that is not “cheap” and to make her costume same with Wonder Woman.
Jerrold Tarog responded to the netizen who made suggestions regarding the Darna costume of Liza Soberano.
The director acknowledged it by saying that he will first have to consult the owner of the trademark when it comes to Darna’s costume.
“Will do my best. Yung costume let’s see kung anong requirements ng may ari ng intellectual property. Also, masarap ang chippy although mas Tortillos akong tao,” said Direk Jerrold on the post.
According to a report on PEP, Jerrold Tarog still has to study several scripts of Darna that was presented to him. He also said that he still has much to conduct regarding his another film, Goyo.
