About 10 Tons Of Tomatoes Dumped In Laguna Due To Oversupply
About 10 tons of tomatoes were allegedly dumped in Kalayaan, Laguna due to oversupply garnered various reactions on the social media.
Nowadays, the increasing prices of basic commodities and food products have been the major concerns of the Filipino people.
The rising prices contribute to the daily burden of the Filipino consumers since most of them are only earning a minimum wage.
Recently, the Facebook page of ABS-CBN News has uploaded the photos of tons of tomatoes dumped in a vacant lot due to alleged oversupply.
Over 10 tons of tomatoes were dumped in Kalayaan, Laguna because of the alleged excessive amount of the product in the area.
Laguna provincial agriculture office will also conduct an investigation due to the incident.

“Halos 10 toneladang kamatis, itinapon na lamang ng mga magsasaka sa Kalayaan, Laguna dahil hindi na mabenta dulot ng sobrang suplay. Pinaiimbestigahan na ng Laguna provincial agri office ang dahilan nito. “
