Video Footage Of How Typhoon Ompong Hits Aparri Before Making Landfall Goes Viral
Here is the viral video footage of how Typhoon Ompong struck Aparri, Cagayan a day before making a landfall in the province.
On Friday (September 13, 2018), Typhoon Ompong with an international name of “Mangkhut” is drawing closer to the land carrying heavy rains and ferocious winds.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that the typhoon has maximum sustained winds of 205 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 255 kph.
The weather bureau has also raised tropical cyclone warning signal in different parts of the country due to the effect of Typhoon Mangkhut.
Ompong is expected to make a landfall in Cagayan-Isabela area on Saturday (September 15, 2018).
Recently, the Facebook page CNN Philippines has uploaded the video footage showing how Typhoon Ompong struck Aparri, Cagayan credited to Mark Espiritu Reparejo.
Another netizen identified as Prince Eljay Rapadas Labasan also shared the video of the typhoon devastating Aparri lashing the area with a violent wind and heavy rain.
