Marcus Frind the founder and CEO of Plentyoffish.com have made a statement on his personal blog that his popular dating site has been compromised by a hacker named Chris Russo, an Argentinian hacker.
Plentyoffish is well known due to its thousands of members worldwide and the income he accumulated that reaches around $300k a month through Advertisement.
According to Marcus Frind the hacker contacted his wife while he is on his way to Miami for a conference. The hacker said that the Russians have taken over his computer and threatening to kill him.
The said hacker doesn’t even try to hide his identity making him transparent with all the activity he is doing on plentyoffish’s website. He doesn’t use proxy or even change his name while he signs up for an account.
Frind stated further that it took two days for Russo to break into the system for a security breach. It seems that the hacker is trying to play with Marcus Frind. Russo is demanding a $15,000. They needed to know also if they can make around $100k or $500k/year.

Hacking is not bad if used according to its good purpose. It used to tell us about the security breach that may harm our website if not taken seriously. Every year there is thousands of website that is being compromise all over the world.
Plentyoffish is so popular in spite of its ugly design. That the founder doesn’t mind about it as long as he earns money. Thousand of username and p(–foul word(s) removed–)word has been hacked but was restored already, according to Marcus Frind.
