The bureau immediately went to the area to check the sinkhole, which is allegedly about 75-feet in depth.

The village was reportedly located in a mountainous area and the sinkhole was an old ‘burabod’ (Mining Cave), which causes a landslide and destroyed the trees in the mountain.

MDRRMO is currently waiting for the arrival of MGB personnel to conduct an ocular inspection in the area and implement a protocol to ensure the safety of the residents.
