Aguirre Not A Bad Guy, He Became A Liar Due To Influence Of New Barkada, Former Senator Rene Saguisag Says
Ex-senator Rene Saguisag defended his friend Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre saying he’s not a bad guy, he just became a liar due to the influence of his new barkada.
Former senator Rene Saguisag has defended Aguirre amid the latest blunder he was facing. He told the media that the justice secretary is not a bad person because they were already friends before “Vit” met his new friends.
Saguisag said that Aguirre is now one of the biggest liars after he was influenced by his new colleagues. He also even told “Vit” was with him even in the case of Hubert Webb.
“Kaibigan ko ‘yan si Vit, kasama ko ‘yan sa case ni Hubert Webb eh. Hindi likas na masama ‘yang si Vit, pero nabarkada eh, kaya ‘yun napakasinungaling na rin,” said by Saquisag quoted by Kickerdaily.
He also asked the justice secretary to remember their life during their college days in San Beda and to stop in making irresponsible statements against elected officials and accusing them of wrong doing.
The justice secretary is currently facing accusations regarding his alleged possible involvement in the Marawi crisis. Aguirre’s photo of their alleged meeting strengthened his claim since it has been revealed.
Saguisag, a critic of the Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has also cited Aguirre’s mess was only a part of current administration’s mindset. He also said that the president appears every day on television, so he does not have even a time to think.
