The video of Sorsogon Governor Raul Lee who threatens and hits a helpless old goes viral after it was posted in the social media.
Government officials were the people elected to be involved in public administration or government. They were appointed in the position to serve the public through their efforts, authority, concern, and love for the people.
Public servants should also serve as an example to the public by doing their best to improve the economy of the people under their jurisdiction. This video shows how a government officials violated the law and showing a bad publicity.
The Facebook account of the Filipino actor/senator Vic Sotto has uploaded a video of the Sorsogon governor Raul R. Lee who threatens and mauled a helpless old man beside the street. The governor was escorted by several barangay officials who also stopped him from mauling the old man.
In the video, it can be seen that Governor Lee was talking to an old man while some of his colleagues were recording their conversation. A few moments later, the old man suddenly walked away due to unknown reason.
Unexpectedly, the governor followed the man and suddenly pushed him beside a truck, grabbed his face, and punched him in the body for several times. The bystanders and some barangay officials was able to stop the governor.
