CELEBRITIES – The local celebrities are in state of shock due to the incident at the famous leisure complex in Manila, and they could not help but react.
Based on a previous news report, men in masks with weapons attacked the said popular leisure complex in Pasay and this is the news that welcomed the people early morning of Friday.
The masked assailant was reported to be firing gunshots inside the establishment that caused fear and panic to the people who are inside the place.
As mentioned on the previous report, the gun fires were from the third floor of the building.
And also the building was in a lock down. The are now cooperating to the Philippine National Police to ensure the safety of the employees and the customers and also to identify the man who caused the distress.
A news report from the GMA News Online says that the gun man is now dead as he burned himself to death.
According to the statement of the Philippine National Police chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa, ” “The lone gunman is already neutralized. Patay na siya, nagsunog siya ng sarili sa loob ng hotel room 510.”
There were a lot of people who had faced their untimely death because of the gun firing and the also a lot has been left wounded by the incident.
And celebrities could not help but react to the news. Their reaction was reflected on their respective social media accounts.
From Ruby Rodriguez, she said on her Twitter account, “Whats happening to our homeland? Guns firing in public places,red alerts, hate and shaming in social media! God guide us all.”
And meanwhile the Filipino international artist Apl de Ap also said to those assailants to stop their acts ruining the country that he loves.
